New York based firm, Antonio Verdi, launched in 2010 a unique, luxury artifact that aims to perfect the art of romantic gift giving. It is called COSIMO, a concept inspired by the romantic facet of the medieval era fused with modern day romantic prose. A COSIMO is hand assembled in the United States with quality, handmade components sourced from various, and remote parts of the world. A Celtic love-knot is hand carved on both sides of the box, which portrays two unbroken strands that intertwine and are inseparable from each other; it is the union of two souls. A real wax seal is securing the contents of the box. Breaking the seal and removing the top of the box, reveals a medieval looking, scorched cotton parchment. The parchment is attached to two wooden handles and secured by a jute string. Unfolding the scroll reveals a laser printed version of the poem you selected or of the personalized message you submitted. All original orders are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, hand signed by the Creative Director. You can elect to include in the COSIMO one of the unique, previously unpublished romantic poems from the Antonio Verdi Words of Love Signature Collection or personalize the COSIMO by submitting your own message. Personalized Message Submission You can submit your message at antonioverdi.com in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Microsoft Works (.wps), or text (.txt) format. The message can be up to 2,464 characters (with spaces). If you are submitting a poem, it should not exceed 44 verses. If you do not specify special font requirements, the message will be printed in font Papyrus. If you have special formatting requirements, for example if you want to specify a different font, you can download and fill out the template available on the site. The template is provided in Microsoft Word 97-2003 format. Photograph/Certificate Inscription Antonioverdi.com enables customers to inscribe on the scroll any type of image including your marriage certificate. You can specify where on the scroll you wish the image printed and what the image size should be. Inscription in foreign Languages You can submit your message or poem in any foreign language as long as it is supported by Microsoft Word. Type your message in a Microsoft Word document. During the checkout process, the system enables you to upload your file.
