Viewing / Editing your Company Information
Your company information contains the main contact and clixGalore login information for all of your Affiliate programs. To edit your company information, including your clixGalore login details, from the Member home area select the "View / Edit Your Company Details" link from the top of the page.

Viewing / Editing Your Affiliate Program Information
Your Affiliate program information contains the basic setup details for each Affiliate program you create. To edit your program information, from the Member Home area select Edit / Add Affiliate Program. Each Affiliate program you have created is contained in the drop down list at the top of the page. To edit your program information please select the program you wish to edit from the drop down list. To create a new affiliate program, select "New Affiliate Program" from the drop down list.

Where Do I Set My PayPal Address / Payee Name And Affiliate Payment Currency
You can specify the Paypal address you would like commission payments made to and the currency you would like to be paid in from the Affiliate Program Information edit page.

How To Search For and Join Merchants
There are no restrictions on the number of Merchant programs you can join. To locate relevant Merchant programs, from the Member Home area select the Join Merchant Programs link. Within this sub menu you can search all of the clixGalore merchants, the top performing merchants and the latest merchants to join clixGalore. Each page contains various search criteria and a link to join the program.

Quick Join Merchant Pick List
In addition to the search pages the "Quick Join Merchant Pick List" is available under the Affiliate Toolkit menu. This allows you to identify Merchants based on categories and/or program type. This facility displays the merchant name, maximum payout rate, the number of banners the merchant has and the number of approved/pending/declined requests from your affiliate program to that merchant. This popup window can be left open allowing you to click on the Merchant name link and quickly join multiple programs.

Merchant Matching Profile
We constantly have new merchants joining clixGalore. To help Affiliates become aware of new Merchant programs, you can "Build a Profile For Merchant Program Matching", located under the Affiliate toolkit menu item. This facility allows you to create search criteria applicable to new Merchant programs. When a merchant matching this criteria joins, clixGalore will send an email to you with details of the merchant(s). In addition, from this page you can also apply your profile to current merchants. The resulting popup window can be left open allowing you to quickly join multiple programs.

Retrieving the clixGalore Tracking Code
When a Merchant program accepts you as an Affiliate you will be sent an email containing the tracking code to use for this particular merchant. The tracking code can also be retrieved at any time by using the "Get Banner Linking Code" menu option from the Member Home area. This page details all of the Merchant programs and banners you have joined. To retrieve the tracking code click on the "View Code" link for the particular Merchant/Banner combination required. If a Merchant has deactivated their program, the View Code link will be unavailable and the status will be set as Inactive.

Deep Linking
It is possible to link to a specific page/product within a Merchant's site by using "Deep Linking". To utilise a deep link, identify the specific URL you would like to direct a customer to and append this to the tracking code link using "&AffDirectURL=<INSERT URL>" replacing <INSERT URL> with the correct page (with no http prefix). Please note, any occurrences of an ampersand within the URL need to be replaced with %26 this is termed "URL encoding". The tracking code popup window mentioned under the Retrieving the Tracking Code section, provides the facility to easily add a deep link URL to the tracking code. Type the deep link URL required into the "Deep Link" field and click the Add button. The displayed tracking code now contains the required deep link.

How To Insert Tracking Code Into A Web Page
The tracking code issued to you can be inserted anywhere and on any page within your website. Any HTML editor can be used including Windows Notepad or WordPad. Simply paste the entire tracking code into your web page and save the changes. Please note, if you are using Front Page as an editor first copy the tracking code into notepad, then in Front Page insert the code when in SOURCE view.

Using The Banner Rotator
clixGalore also provides its own banner rotator functionality. This allows you to display mutliple program banners on a single page which are rotated each time the page is loaded. To create/ edit a banner rotator, select the Create Banner Rotation Profile option under the Banner Rotation Menu. You can create multiple banner rotation profiles under your affiliate program. Select the profile you wish to edit or select New Profile to create a new rotation profile. Select the merchant you wish to add from the merchant program dropdown list and the banners you are signed to will be displayed. Highlight the banner(s) you wish to add to the rotator and click the >> button. You can move banners up and down in the rotation list using the "Up" and "Down" buttons. When selecting a new merchant to add to the rotation profile ensure you click the "Save Profile Details" button BEFORE changing the merchant. Once you have created your rotation profile, click on the "View Rotation Tracking" code button to retrieve the required tracking code to display in your web page. Please refer to the section How to Insert the Tracking Code into a web page.

It is also possible to schedule when the banners are to be displayed. For example, you may wish only the highest paying banners to be displayed at the times your website is most heavily hit. Either click on the "Schedule Rotation Times" button or select the Schedule Rotation Times option from the Banner Rotation menu. Click in the hour time cell against each banner to turn off/on the display flag in that particular hour.

The banner rotator is refreshed each hour. Any merchants that have a low balance and cannot afford the payout rate will automatically be removed from the profile. To view the number of times a particular banner has been removed from a rotation profile for the current week, select the View Banner Rotation Removal Summary option from the Banner Rotation menu.

clixGalore No Redirect Page
On certain occasions when a banner is clicked on the customer may not be taken to the merchant’s site but to the standard clixGalore no redirect page. This can occur for a number of reasons. The merchant may have a low balance and cannot afford the payout rate, in which case we cannot direct further traffic to the merchant until a redeposit occurs. The affiliate/merchant relationship may be invalid. The merchant may have declined the affiliate or the merchant may be inactive. The merchant may have IP country filtering in place; they may only require customers from certain countries. Any country filtering information is available on the merchant details popup, displayed from the merchant search page, merchant program join page or the Advanced Program Management page.

Merchant Low Balance Watch
When a merchant cannot support their specified payout rate, no further traffic will be sent to their site. Customers will be presented with the clixGalore standard No Redirect page. It is possible to monitor the status of a Merchant's balance by using the Merchant Program Low Balance Watch option under the Affiliate Toolkit menu. This page details all merchants you are signed to that have a low balance and the period they have had a low balance. If you wish to be notified by email when a merchant has a low balance and when they redeposit funds into their account, click on the "Edit Your Watch List" link within this page. This facility allows you to select particular Merchants and whether to be notified by email when they have a low balance. It is also possible to request an email when they redeposit funds into their account.

Viewing Your Current Balance
You can view the total commission earnt from your affiliate program by using the Balance menu option. You can view your current balance, your referral balance (amount earnt from participating in a merchant’s referral scheme) and any commission payment checks issued to you.

Submit a Merchant Comment
We do not expose the email addresses of our merchants; however we do allow Affiliates to submit a comment to a merchant by using the Submit a Merchant Comment option from the Affiliate Toolkit menu. If a merchant chooses to respond to your comment, this can be viewed from the View Submitted Merchant Comments option under the Affiliate Toolkit menu.
